Puedes ponerte de acuerdo para almorzar y salvar a las ballenas? ~ Can you make a lunchtime appointment to save the whales?

Yaps! como algunas veces anteriores recibí un mail de Greenpeace que voy a poner ahora en mi blog. La diferencia es que esta vez no voy a ser tan floja y voy a traducir al menos la idea. Si de verdad te importan las ballenas algo harás para encontar la página en español y hacer lo tuyo.

En el futuro de la conservación de las Ballenas Dinamarca tiene un voto decisivo, es por eso que Greenpeace nos invita a todos a ir el día 6 de Marzo (martes) a la hora de almuerzo a la embajada de Dinamarca en nuestros respectivo países con una "lata de carne de ballena". Cómo? Sí, leíste bien, una lata de carne de ballena, que en realidad es sólo la etiqueta, somos activistas! por supuesto que no las vamos a tener llenas de carne de ballena.

Puedes encontrar tu etiqueta aquí, están todas en inglés pero no importa! Seguro el embajador de Dinamarca habla inglés tb ;)

Piénsalo un poco, todo lo que necesitas es un poco de tiempo y una impresora, o una tienda donde impriman ;) Ah! una lata tb :P pero sobre todo BUENA VOLUNTAD y amor por las ballenas. para hacerte el trabajo más fácil en este link puedes encontrar la dirección de la embajada danesa en tú país ;)

If you can't make it to the embassy, find some other way to get your message to the Danish government. Take a picture of your can and mail the picture to the ambassador. Or send your can via the post. Whatever you do, leave a comment at the I-GO site to let others know what you've done, and see what others are doing.

10 cosas que amo de ti ~ 10 things I love about you

Inspirada en una película que me gustó mucho pero en una nota más positiva se me ocurrió hacer este post, que debí haber publicado hace unos días atrás en conmemoración de su supuesto cumpleaños número dos, pero que olvidé, porque soy una mala persona.

10.- No toma agua si no está fresca.

9.- Tienen que dejarlo solo para que coma.

8.- Cuando está la puerta abierta entra a la casa calladito como pensando que lo vamos a ver.

7.- Cuando corre a velocidades no muy altas es como si tuviera la dirección mala, corre chueco :P

6.- Cuando el portón del patio queda sin seguro hace todos los esfuerzos por mover la pesada puerta y por sujetarla para poder salir antes que se cierre.

5.- Cuando abrimos la puerta para salir a pasear sus ojitos tienen una expresión que me atrevería a interpretar como expectativa, es como si sólo le faltara decir “Ya! Vamos!”

4.- Cuando hay ropa larga tendida o el viento mueve las plantas se hace cariño solo con la ropa o con las hojas de los árboles chiquitos.

3.- Cuando no me ha visto en algunas horas o si le pasa algo pareciera que lo cuenta con todo detalle y hasta con entonaciones de “voz”.

2.- Es compañero fiel, acompaña siempre y parece conocer los estados de ánimo, siempre puedo contar con que me haga sonreír.

1.- En sus ojos no hay maldad, sino la inocencia más pura. Y a diferencia de los seres humanos eso no cambia con los años.

Inspired by a movie I really liked but in a more positive note I thought of writing this post, that I should've posted some days ago commemorating his supposed second birthday, but I forgot, cuz I'm a bad person.

10.- He doesn’t drink water unless it’s been poured in his bowl recently.

9.- He has to be left alone in order to eat.

8.- When he finds the door open he comes in the house very quietly as if thinking we won’t see him.

7.- When he runs at not very high speed it’s as if his steering wasn’t working, he runs crooked.

6.- When the fence to the backyard is unlocked he makes every effort to move the heavy door and hold it so he can get out before it closes.

5.- When we open the door to take a walk his eyes have an expression that I would dare interpret as anticipation, it’s as if he were about to say “Ok! Let’s go!”

4.- When there are long clothes hanging out in the backyard or the wind moves the plants he strokes himself with the clothes or the leaves of the small trees.

3.- When he hasn’t seen me in some hours of if something has happened to him it’s as if he were telling the story with detail, and even with different tones of “voice”.

2,. He’s a faithful friend, he’s keeps me company all the time and he seems to recognize moods, I can always trust he will make me smile.

1.- In his eyes there’s no evil, but the purest innocence. And unlike humans that doesn’t change over the years.
