Había una vez, no hace mucho tiempo atrás, dos amigas. Ellas eran compañeras de universidad y aunque su historia había sido un poco accidentada, habían llegado ya a un punto en que todo era paz y amor. Un día, caminando por el centro y camino a la universidad, se encontraron con una compañera “nueva” que les pidió que le firmaran en una clase de alguna cosa llamada psicopatología. Estas dos amigas le dijeron que bueno y se fueron caminando muy felices a sus quehaceres.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, two friends. They were classmates at the university and even though their story had been a little accidented, they were already in a point where everything was peace and love. Un day, walking downtown towards school, they met a “new” classmate who asked them to sign the attendance for her in a thing called psychopathology. These two friends said yes and walked happily to their duties.

Cuando llegaron a esa clase la profesora (persona que en ese entonces no se imaginaron llegaría a ser su tan querida tía) les dijo que tenían que hacer un trabajo en grupos de tres. Ni y MoN se miraron y tuvieron un diálogo que se parece un poco al siguiente:

When they got to school the teacher (a person they never thought back then would become their so beloved aunt) told them they had to work on a project in groups of three. Ni and MoN looked at each other and had a dialog similar to the following:

Ni: y con quién vamos a ser?

Ni: so, who are we gonna work with?

MoN: no sé… pucha, yo no quiero ser con cualquiera

MoN: IDK… man, I don’t wanna work with just anybody

Ni: y si somos con la Eve? Igual ella es como buena onda y parece responsable

Ni: what about working with Eve? She looks cool and responsible

MoN: sí, ella parece responsable, y es buena onda, ya poh, seamos con ella!

MoN: yeah, she does look responsible, and she is cool, okay, let’s work with her!

Y así empezó la historia de Ni, Eve y MoN. Estos tres personajes (bueno, tb somos personas, pero a veces parecemos más personajes que personas) empezaron desde ahí una gran amistad. En ocasiones he dicho lo que ahora repetiré, y es que creo que Eve vino a completar el grupo. Fuimos dos por harto tiempo, y era bueno, pero cuando llegó Eve la cosa se puso EXCELENTE.

And so the story of Ni, Eve and MoN began. These three characters (well, we r also persons, but sometimes we seem more characters than persons) started from then a great friendship. I have sometimes said what I’m now going to repeat, and it’s that I think Eve came to complete our group. We were two for a long time, and it was good, but when Eve came it became EXCELLENT.

Y bueno, pasó el tiempo, los trabajos, las pruebas, y estas tres almas parecían ser cada una la horma del zapato de las otras dos. Hemos tenido la suerte de acompañarnos en muchas cosas, importantes, lindas, no tan lindas, no tan importantes, pero hemos sido compañeras, y amigas. Y es así como llegamos al presente, cuando las tres estamos el final de nuestras carreras universitarias, en que estamos al borde del egreso, y yo sé que todas vamos a egresar este semestre, aunque ahora nos falten notas. Ayer tuvimos nuestra despedida en la uni, y hoy nos juntamos a nuestra propia despedida… En la casa de Ni, como hace un año atrás nos juntamos, a final de semestre… Mis niñas… las voy a extrañar tanto, aunque nos vamos a ver mínimo una vez a la semana con el seminario de título… Han sido mi gran apoyo, un gran soporte, en tantas cosas… en mi relación con Dios/a, en mis relaciones amorosas, en mis temas familiares, en mis temas académicos, en mis temas éticos… en lo que ha sido mi vida en los últimos años. Queridas mías… siento por uds un amor profundo, que no les puedo expresar, las conozco hace tan poco y al mismo tiempo hace tanto… por favor, no dejemos que el tiempo nos pierda, que la distancia nos pierda, que la rosa de los vientos nos confunda… tenemos un compromiso, 29 de Junio, desde donde sea (claro que si en ese tiempo toy viviendo en Tumbuktú y no tengo plata pa’l pasaje, me lo pagan el parcito, jajaja). LAS AMO MUCHO!! GRACIAS, muchas gracias.

And well, time passed, projects, tests, and this three souls seemed to be each the complement of the other two. We have been lucky enough to keep us company in many things, important, beautiful, not to beautiful, not so important, but we have been partners, and friends. And so we came to the present, when the three of us are at the end of our university careers, when we r about to leave school, and I know we all r going to leave school this semester, even thought we r still missing grades… My girls… I’m going to miss you both so much, even thought we r going to see each other at least once a week due to the seminar… you both have been my great support, my big pillar, in so many things… my relationship with God/dess, my couple relationships, my family issues, mi academic issues, my ethic issues… whatever my lifer has been about these past years. My dear ones… I feel towards you deep love, that I cannot express, I have known you both for so little and at the same time for so long… please, let’s not let time lose us, let us not let distance lose us, let us not let the rose of winds confuse us… we have a promise, June 29^th, from wherever (of course, if I’m in Tumbuktú and I don’t have money for the tickets, u guys will have to pay for it, hahaha). I LOVE YOU A LOT!! THANK YOU, than u very much.
