Last pics of the expo :P ~ Las últimas fotos de la expo :P

I know, I know... I have posted a lot bout that painted bodies expo, but here I will post the last pics... some I didn't have but got from Boriss and Saartje's files, hehe :) The last couple are my very fave, that I couldn't take pics of cuz by the time I got to the expo had already been taken down. Hope u enjoy.

@Jac: yes, she's pregnant. The painter followed her pregnancy and made different pics of the different stages of it. I loved that pic. Tchorix just told me that 3rd and 4th pics are from different artists, cool, ain't it?

@wookie: yeah, the uterus and the baby, following the pregnancy all through... it gave me such a feeling of tenderness when I saw it... my very hidden maternal instincts I guess :P

Thanx to the info given by Tchorix in his comment I know now that the first two pics belong to the selk'nam culture, also known as Onas (I think... I was never good in history at school), who were a native group of Tierra del Fuego (that I know for sure), in the south of Chile (where I was born). They painted themselves like that to represent gods and stuff (I'm translating my brother's words :P)typically the wind (u should feel that wind.... it's one of the things I miss from there). They painted their boides to celebrate the transition towards adulthood of the members of their tribe :)

@Lucio: Thanx, I will see what expos I can go to. One of the things I like bout the city I live in and it's sister city is that there are a lot of cultural and artistic activities in them, many for free, and many at low prices for students, who always lack money ;)
Thanx for the visit :)

@Ganga: Thanx! Hope to be posting soon, maybe even tonight :)
